Research informatics company Flywheel is adding to its product suite with software tools that the company said aim to help researchers streamline clinical trials, discover patient cohorts, and analyze data on an enterprise scale.
The Flywheel Trial Flow is Flywheel's data management platform for compliant clinical data ingestion and trial data management. Researchers operating under 21 CFR Part 11 can use the platform to capture, curate, and quantify imaging and associated data for clinical trials and other compliant research.
Flywheel Discovery meanwhile interfaces directly with enterprise PACS and clinical reporting systems to index DICOM metadata and clinical reports. The company said researchers can use Discovery to create deidentified cohorts and export the data for further research.
Both products complement the flagship Flywheel Enterprise.
