Nuance Communications released its Nuance Precision Imaging Network during the RSNA 2021 meeting in Chicago.

The artificial intelligence (AI)-powered cloud software delivers patient-specific data and insights from diagnostic imaging into existing clinical and administrative workflows such as PACS, vendor-neutral archives, and electronic health records. The Nuance Precision Imaging Network connects imaging stakeholders and shares AI-enhanced diagnostic imaging information to support clinical decision-making, facilitate earlier detection and treatment of diseases, and increase interpretation and workflow efficiencies, the firm said.

Not only does the network incorporate AI-powered diagnostic models but it also has task automation, clinical decision-support, and patient-centered care team communication. For instance, radiologists can receive AI-based worklist prioritization and healthcare providers can apply AI-generated insights from diagnostic imaging to support earlier disease diagnosis. Also, life science companies can qualify patients eligible for life-enhancing treatment options and clinical trials more quickly and efficiently, Nuance said.
