PaxeraHealth to launch new AI imaging platform at HIMSS

PACS/RIS developer PaxeraHealth plans to launch its newest artificial intelligence (AI) imaging platform at the upcoming 2021 Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) meeting in Las Vegas.

PaxeraUltima 8th Generation uses AI algorithms to analyze large datasets, prioritize studies, and provide support for clinical analysis, the company said.

The platform's collaborative learning structure allows users to share diagnostic knowledge with the AI model's database to inform future analysis. The Ultima 8thGen has native AI algorithms for chest x-ray, mammography, and brain CT.

The platform can also help healthcare systems develop AI algorithms based on their own datasets, PaxeraHealth said.
