The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) has tapped one of its former presidents, Melissa Pergola, as its new executive vice president of governance and public policy.
Melissa Pergola. Image courtesy of ASRT.Pergola brings 30 years of experience as a radiologic technologist and educator in hospital, corporate, and university settings. In the past six years, she has served at Siemens Healthineers in both its business and human resources divisions. Before her time at Siemens, she was a clinical assistant professor at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, the ASRT said.
Pergola starts in her new role on July 13.
