IZI unveils automatic soft-tissue biopsy system

Interventional radiology and oncology device manufacturer IZI Medical Products has introduced Quick-Core Auto, an automatic biopsy system for soft-tissue biopsy applications.

Building upon IZI's Quick-Core semiautomatic biopsy system, Quick-Core Auto features three programmable firing modes for tissue sampling, including automatic, delay, and zero-throw modes. The device is available in a combination of needles ranging from 12 to 20 gauge and lengths ranging from 6 cm to 25 cm, with and without coaxial needles, according to the vendor.
