Philips Healthcare parent Royal Philips is partnering with patient engagement software developer openDoctor to enable patients to self-schedule radiology exams on its new Patient Management Solution software.
In addition, patients can also complete intake questionnaires in advance on the integrated radiology patient management platform and receive automated last-minute reminders and wayfinding, according to Philips. The cloud-based Patient Management Solution is a component of the vendor's Radiology Workflow Suite.
