Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas has signed a deal with SimonMed Imaging to integrate its Exa RIS software throughout SimonMed's network of imaging centers across the U.S.
The new platform allows SimonMed patients to electronically check in, pay their bills, and access their own patient records. Radiologists who use the platform can share patient imaging data and chat with referring physicians, while business managers gain access to real-time data to manage operations, referral patterns, asset utilization, and staff efficiency, according to the vendor.
