AuntMinnie.com earns top rankings from radiologists among social media sites

ARLINGTON, VA (PRWEB) - Radiology portal AuntMinnie.com, part of Science and Medicine Group, earned top rankings for social media use by radiologists in the latest report from Kantar, a data, insights, and consulting firm.

More radiologists said they had ever used AuntMinnie.com than any other social media portal, including powerhouses like Facebook and YouTube. Among social media portals used in the past six months by radiologists, AuntMinnie.com scored third, behind Facebook and YouTube.

In all, 96% of radiologists surveyed in the report said they had heard of AuntMinnie.com, while another 81% said they had used the site at some point in their careers. In addition, 44% said they had used AuntMinnie.com in the past six months.

The scores demonstrate the extensive brand awareness and use of AuntMinnie.com throughout radiology in the 20 years since the site was founded, according to CEO Craig Overpeck.

"The fact that AuntMinnie.com stands shoulder to shoulder with social media giants like Facebook and YouTube is an astounding accomplishment," Overpeck said. "Even in these unusual times, radiology professionals continue to value the information, education, and interaction that AuntMinnie.com delivers to its members."
