Teleradiology services provider USARad has named a new chief medical strategist and board member.
Dr. Frank Ferraro, a practicing board-certified radiologist who is licensed in 48 states, joins the company as it focuses on providing its radiology-as-a-service model.
Ferraro's teleradiology experience began in 1997, when he was part of Sheer Ahearn, the first national teleradiology private practice. In 2001, he founded and managed USTeleradiology, and later he became an initial investor/advisor and board member at Neurostar, a cloud-based imaging distribution platform company.
