ASRT, Canon open Safety First grant applications

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) and Canon Medical Systems USA have announced that they are now accepting applications for the 2020 Safety First grant program, which offers radiologic technologists funds to improve workplace safety.

Winning ASRT members receive a grant of up to $7,000 for the development and implementation of a safety program for technologists.

The program is in its sixth year, the ASRT and Canon said. The deadline to apply is July 31, and applications can be completed online.
