Clarius launches 2nd-generation pocket ultrasound

Handheld-ultrasound technology developer Clarius Mobile Health has launched a second generation of its pocket-sized wireless ultrasound scanners.

The new product line includes two multipurpose devices, C3 HD and PA HD, and four devices dedicated to specialties (L15 HD, EC7 HD, C7 HD, and L7 HD), the company said.

These new devices are almost half the size of Clarius' original pocket ultrasound scanners, with eight times the processing power, according to the firm.
