Accuray, RaySearch treat 1st patients in Asia-Pacific

Clinicians at Lopburi Cancer Hospital in Thailand have treated cancer patients in the Asia-Pacific region for the first time using a combination of radiation oncology firm Accuray's Radixact and radiation therapy software developer RaySearch's RayStation.

The hospital is a national center of excellence for cancer treatment that first installed the RayStation treatment planning system in 2015. The hospital recently installed Accuray's Radixact radiation therapy system and began using RayStation and Radixact to treat cancer cases, according to Accuray.
