Cerebrovascular imaging software developer iSchemaView has released Rapid ICH, a new addition to its Rapid artificial intelligence (AI) software platform to help diagnose intracranial hemorrhage (ICH).

Rapid ICH is fully automated software that uses AI to accelerate the triage of noncontrast CT cases and notify clinicians of ICH. It also is designed to help hospitals and mobile care units assess stroke patients and streamline treatment decisions by detecting all types of brain hemorrhages with a sensitivity and specificity greater than 90%, according to the company.

The new Rapid module automatically processes images from a CT scanner and immediately makes them available through a PACS workstation, Rapid Mobile app, and email.
