ESR's world tour begins in Brazil in 2019

The European Society of Radiology (ESR) will make the first stop of its Best of ECR tour at the Brazilian Congress of Radiology (CBR) in Fortaleza in October 2019.

ESR announced plans in June to visit all continents to bolster the organization's presence at international congresses.

After each year's European Congress of Radiology, the ESR will bring a number of speakers to national congresses worldwide to present scientific content from the most recent meeting.

ESR's decision to begin the tour in Brazil comes during a period of increased collaboration between the ESR and the Brazilian College of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging. The two societies have been working on long-term collaboration strategies to share radiological knowledge and practices between Europe and Brazil.
