Real Time Medical debuts AI development service

Canadian radiology software developer Real Time Medical is teaming up with the Medical Imaging Informatics Research Centre at McMaster (MIIRCAM) in Hamilton, Ontario, to offer a healthcare artificial intelligence (AI) training, research, and validation service.

AI technology developers will be able to access a range of healthcare AI development services from the academic research center, including the following:

  • AI training using high-quality, properly correlated, deidentified datasets
  • Validation of resulting algorithms with more than 100 licensed radiologists, including labeling, measurement, and other diagnostic services
  • Data labeling and validation
  • Clinical leadership and advisory services
  • Identifying the most beneficial clinical applications for AI
  • Joint intellectual property development and patenting
  • Advanced research and collaboration new project opportunities
  • Clinical trials
  • Provision of anonymization, data security, workflow orchestration, and workload balancing technology for use during validation and clinical trials

Real Time Medical will serve as the technology provider and contracting arm for AI developers seeking to use the collaboration service, according to the firm.
