AMA names radiologist to board

The American Medical Association (AMA) has elected diagnostic radiologist Dr. Scott Ferguson to its board of trustees.

Ferguson is currently chair of the Arkansas delegation to the AMA House of Delegates and the AMA Council on Legislation, as well as vice chair of the AMA Radiology Section Council, according to the AMA. He also served two terms in the Arkansas House of Representatives and was previously the president of both the Arkansas Medical Society and the Crittenden County Medical Society.
