ACT.md taps new CCO

Healthcare software firm ACT.md has appointed Amy Vreeland as its chief commercial officer (CCO).

Vreeland will lead ACT.md's business development, sales, and marketing efforts and help expand its network of healthcare provider, payor, and research customers.

She brings to the new post more than 25 years of experience in health information technology, health information exchange, and enterprise digital transformation, ACT.md said. Vreeland co-founded medical image-sharing software developer LifeImage and founded Imaging Strategies. She also served as vice president of client services at Amicas, now a Merge Healthcare subsidiary.
