Trump signs $1.3T budget bill

President Donald Trump on March 23 signed a $1.3 trillion spending bill that will fund the government through September, according to a report from Politico.

Trump signed the bill despite making an earlier threat to veto it because it does not include money for a border wall with Mexico and a fix for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will receive $78 billion, while the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will receive $4 billion and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will receive $2.9 billion, according to the bill.
