Canon Medical wins Vantage Galan installation

Canon Medical Systems has installed a Vantage Galan 3-tesla MRI system at the new Quality Electrodynamics (QED) Research Center in Mayfield Village, OH.

The system is being used to develop new MRI technologies, such as radiofrequency coils. It will also be used by local university-based researchers to test the compatibility and performance of their products in an MRI environment, Canon said.
