Fuji unveils AI initiative at RSNA 2017

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA has unveiled its new artificial intelligence (AI) development initiative for the U.S. market at RSNA 2017.

The initiative will use AI to enhance its Synapse PACS, Synapse Cardiovascular, and Synapse vendor-neutral archive (VNA), and other products. The program will be based in Raleigh, NC, and will collaborate with Fuji's development team in Tokyo.

The firm will also partner with its U.S. customers for their clinical insights and expertise to incorporate AI applications with imaging informatics systems, Fujifilm said.
