Carestream Health has completed the installations of a variety of digital radiography (DR) imaging devices for Edward-Elmhurst Health in Naperville, IL.

The healthcare system now has in operation four Carestream DRX-Evolution Plus and DRX-Evolution digital radiography (DR) systems, two Carestream DRX-Ascend scanners, and three Carestream DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray devices. It has also retrofitted nine rooms with Carestream DRX detectors.

Two additional DRX mobile systems will be installed by the end of this year to complete the transformation to DR technology. The conversion began several years ago as Edward-Elmhurst started replacing its computed radiography (CR) systems with DR devices.
