Carestream Health has installed its portable and room-based digital radiography (DR) systems at Estes Park Medical Center in Estes Park, CO.

A Carestream DRX-Revolution mobile x-ray system captures portable imaging studies for emergency and operating room patients, as well as inpatients, while a DRX-Evolution Plus system features a fixed wall stand and elevating table for spine, abdomen, long-length, scoliosis, and other types of imaging studies.

The staff uses DRX Plus detectors in 25 x 30-cm and 35 x 43-cm sizes, Carestream said. The hospital also has a Carestream Vue PACS and Vue Archive.

Estes Park also retrofitted its existing radiography/fluoroscopy system with a DRX Plus 3543 detector.
