SuperSonic features new products at ECR

Ultrasound technology developer SuperSonic Imagine is highlighting its new SuperEndocavity volumetric transducer and featuring other products at ECR 2016.

The transducer enables 2D and 3D imaging for B-mode, color modes, and shear-wave elastography, which is useful in the diagnosis and monitoring of prostate cancer and gynecologic and obstetrics applications, the company noted.

Supersonic is also showcasing its new Angio PL.U.S. Planewave UltraSensitive imaging for microvascular visualization, an advancement in color Doppler imaging, according to the company. Angio PL.U.S. provides improved color sensitivity and spatial resolution and increases the detail of real-time flow information available during ultrasound exams.

Both products can be found as part of the company's Aixplorer ultrasound system, which provides shear-wave elastography in real-time.
