Agfa completes W.Va. DR conversion

Agfa HealthCare has installed its DX-D retrofit digital radiography (DR) system at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Agfa's DX-D retrofit features dual cesium wireless detectors to convert an existing analog x-ray room to digital technology. With the DX-D retrofit, x-ray images acquired within the digital room are immediately available for review and can be transferred and stored to a patient's electronic health record, Agfa said.

Mon General Hospital is a 189-bed acute-care community hospital serving North Central West Virginia and the surrounding region.
