DOD extends Carestream DR, CR contracts

Carestream Health has received an extension of its contract with the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for the purchase of digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR) systems.

The contract allows the federal government and federal agencies to spend up to $70.2 million for the radiography devices.

The extension ends December 15, 2014, and is part of a six-year contract that includes the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps, and federal agencies.
