Univ. of Missouri inks deal with Global PET Imaging

The University of Missouri and Global PET Imaging have signed a letter of intent to build a cyclotron to produce rubidium-82 near the university's campus.

Global PET will install a 70-MeV cyclotron and related facilities at the university's Discovery Ridge research park. University scientists will operate the cyclotron, and the university will also have access to the machine for other research purposes, according to the institution.
