The American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) Foundation has unveiled a free new mobile app to support appropriate use of echocardiography.
Designed to guide physicians in appropriate procedures in cardiovascular care and echocardiography, the Echo AUC app is now available for download in the Apple iTunes and Google Play stores, according to ASE.
ASE said the app is intended to appeal to a broad cardiology and noncardiology medical audience to enhance conversations between physicians and patients about avoiding unnecessary care or overused medical tests and procedures in cardiovascular care, specifically echocardiography.
