Agfa rolls out CR 12-X in North America

Agfa HealthCare has launched its CR 12-X tabletop computed radiography (CR) digitizer in North America.

The device is designed for general radiography, orthopedic, and chiropractic practices, according to Agfa.

The compact, DICOM-compliant system has a single slot for 14 x 17-inch cassettes, and users can adjust speed and resolution depending on the exam. Technologists can also overwrite the default settings for each exam, depending on speed and quality priorities.
