Agfa installs x-ray suite in Ontario

Agfa HealthCare has installed its DX-D 600 semiautomatic digital x-ray suite at Trillium Health Partners' Credit Valley Hospital, a 382-bed facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

The deal expands Agfa's relationship with the acute-care inpatient facility, which already owns computed radiography and PACS products from the company. The installation is a good fit considering the hospital's high-volume imaging needs, with more than 200,000 diagnostic imaging exams performed each year, according to Trillium.
