Alpinion debuts E-Cube 7 US scanner in U.S.

Ultrasound technology developer Alpinion Medical Systems introduced its portable E-Cube 7 ultrasound system in the U.S. at this week's annual Regional Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Medicine meeting in Boston.

Suitable for image guidance during regional anesthesia and pain medicine procedures, E-Cube 7 features a small footprint and a large 19-inch LED monitor, according to the company. It also includes a scratch-resistant control panel with auto-optimization tools and pinless transducer connectors.

E-Cube 7 is the first ultrasound system introduced by Alpinion into the U.S. market. The company said it has more than 2,000 systems installed worldwide.
