Carestream downsizes DRX console

Carestream Health has introduced a smaller, lighter console upgrade for its DRX-1 digital radiography system.

The new console weighs 36 lb and is 20 x 8 x 15 inches. All wiring and power components are mounted inside its cover. By minimizing the footprint of the DRX-1 system, the console is especially designed for use in crowded x-ray rooms.
