Calgary Scientific releases PureWeb SDK v2.2

Advanced visualization software developer Calgary Scientific announced the launch of its latest PureWeb software development kit (SDK), version 2.2, at the RSNA 2010 meeting in Chicago.

This release is designed to expand capabilities of PureWeb for different platforms, including the most recent versions of Apple iOS and Google Android to enable legacy applications to run on Web browsers and touchscreen mobile devices, according to the Calgary, Alberta-based company.

PureWeb recognizes security across all platforms, as data are never moved, duplicated, or remain on any device used to access information. This design feature permits Calgary Scientific's ResolutionMD Web and Mobile application to remotely access sensitive patient data without the need to transmit or store it on the device, preserving security both inside and outside the firewall.
