Analogic has retained Korn/Ferry International to search for a successor to Wood, who has served as CEO of the Peabody, MA-based firm since August 2003. Analogic founder and chairman emeritus Bernard Gordon will serve as interim executive chairman and former chairman John Tarello will serve as interim vice chairman.

In addition, Analogic has named Dr. Edmund Becker Jr. as president and chief operating officer (COO), effective immediately. Becker, who has been executive vice president and COO since 2005, has been with Analogic since 1977.
