ECRI releases forecast of medical technology

Medical technology research firm ECRI of Plymouth Meeting, PA, has released the latest edition of its Health Technology Forecast, an analysis of new diagnostic and therapeutic breakthroughs. The publication is designed to help healthcare providers assess which new and upcoming technologies will have the biggest impact on patient care.

Health Technology Forecast is compiled from ECRI publications, and includes text, charts and tables on hundreds of technologies, according to ECRI. It includes specific recommendations on technologies ranging from stereotactic breast biopsy to lung volume reduction surgery to CT scanners.
