ARTMS, Isotopia produce PSMA-11 in cyclotron

ARTMS and Isotopia Molecular Imaging have announced the multicurie labeling of a prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-11-based radiopharmaceutical using cyclotrons.

Isotopia's PSMA-11 kit was relabeled with cyclotron-produced gallium-68 (Ga-68) using irradiation times of fewer than two hours while using ARTMS' quantum irradiation system technology. The kit, which was radiolabeled with between 500 mCi and about 2,900 mCi of Ga-68, demonstrated six-hour stability and radiochemical purity.
