Canon Medical Systems USA plans to release a new mobile digital radiography (DR) system at the upcoming virtual AHRA annual meeting.

Soltus 500 improves workflow by streamlining bedside exams, the company said. It features new tube head controls, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display, and dual collimator controls, as well as the company's Distributed Antenna System, which boosts the detectors' wireless range.

Soltus 500 has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
