Coronavirus prompts AHRA to cancel spring meeting

By staff writers

March 9, 2020 -- Concerns over the growing coronavirus outbreak have led the AHRA to cancel its spring conference, previously scheduled to take place from March 26-28 in San Diego.

The AHRA said that the health and well-being of meeting attendees, staff, and vendors is a top concern. In addition, many AHRA members are frontline medical imaging managers who should not be displaced from their institutions at this critical time, the organization said.

Registrants for the meeting may request a refund for their ticket or exchange their registration for the AHRA summer meeting on July 12-15 in Boston.
