Calgary Scientific promotes AI for RSNA 2017

Imaging software developer Calgary Scientific plans to highlight developments in artificial intelligence (AI), among its product upgrades, at the RSNA 2017 annual meeting.

Enhancements to its ResolutionMD enterprise viewing platform include the following:

  • Support for AI-based visual analysis, learning, and interactivity with third-party AI visual learning systems for enhanced clinical decision-making
  • Patient-centric hospital-wide access and viewing for DICOM and non-DICOM images and reports and a new native support for cross-enterprise document sharing for imaging
  • Cloud-based analytics to manage onsite viewer deployments and enhance reliability and uptime while reducing cost of ownership
