Insightec is developing MR-guided focused ultrasound treatment. Under the agreement, FAU and Insightec will explore opportunities to collaborate on preclinical research using the technology to treat Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease, according to a news release.

The agreement was announced by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis during a recent trade mission trip to Israel, the companies noted.
