July 18, 2014 -- South Korean firm 3D Story has launched a service to print fetal dolls based on 3D ultrasound data.

The company's patent-pending software converts 3D ultrasound data into a 3D printer-ready format, according to a report from Korea Bizwire. 3D Story has also inked a deal with fellow Korean firm HyVision System for use of its Cubicon 3D printers, the news service reported.

The company showcased the new product at the Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology meeting earlier this year, according to Korea Bizwire.
