January 23, 2008 -- Barco of Kortrijk, Belgium, is rolling out two new products: the first is an advanced control room management software application, and the second a 3D workstation for multichannel desktops and small to medium-sized video walls.

Barco's CMS-100 software is an advanced control room management suite designed to facilitate decision-making and provide enhanced access to information through one connection to multiple sources.

Barco's PWS-101 3D workstation for multidisplay setups features dedicated hardware accelerator cards to extend PC capabilities. It makes use of up to two Quad-Core Intel Xeon CPUs, high-end 3D graphics acceleration, and media integration capabilities.

Both products will be available in March.
