FDA clears new version of Plum Medical workstation

June 26, 2018 -- German mobile image display developer Plum Medical Solutions has received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for an upgraded version of its Med-Tab portable medical imaging workstation.

Med-Tab version 2.0 features DICOM grayscale and color operation via a one-touch button and also includes DICOM hardware calibration, an ambient light sensor and conditions indicator, a 13.3-inch touchscreen display, and automatic portrait and landscape orientations, the company said.
