Lynch has more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, most recently as interim chief financial officer for a 200-bed acute care hospital, Humboldt Park Health. Prior to that role, he managed the divestiture of five business units for Northwestern Medicine and, as group vice president, oversaw postmerger integration for the Illinois Health and Hospital Association.

Lynch will report to NorthStar President and CEO Stephen Merrick.
