Under the agreement, Kromek will integrate CZT sensors with Analogic's detector designs and ensure that production capability is available to support Analogic's PCCT demand as the project progresses toward commercialization.

CZT-based PCCT detectors may provide improvements in spatial resolution, radiation dose reduction, and energy resolution over conventional CT detectors, the companies said.
