Elekta donates Leksell to Ukraine

September 30, 2008 -- Swedish radiation oncology firm Elekta of Stockholm has donated a Leksell stereotactic radiation therapy system for minimally invasive brain surgery to the international charitable foundation Ukraine 3000.

The system will be used for treating a wide range of brain disorders at one of Ukraine's neurosurgery hospitals.
