February 25, 2009 -- GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., is partnering with HCL Technologies, headquartered in Uttar Pradesh, India, to provide healthcare IT planning, deployment, customization, and maintenance in developing countries.
GE will certify HCL to offer Centricity Enterprise and integrate HCL into GE's Digital Day One program, designed to help new hospitals in emerging countries become fully digital facilities.
The two companies currently are training HCL staff on Centricity Enterprise and related GE Healthcare IT in preparation for certification and in-market customer efforts.
