Optovue raises $10.5 million

April 3, 2007 -- Optical coherence tomography (OCT) developer Optovue said it has secured $10.5 million in a financing round.

The company has commercialized OCT technology in its RTvue device, which captures a 3D high-resolution image for ophthalmological applications. The Fremont, CA-based developer said that the funding will be used to fuel the production, expansion, and continued development of its RTvue OCT product.
