Fovia wins Amicas contract

February 5, 2009 -- Fovia of Palo Alto, CA, announced that PACS vendor Amicas has chosen to integrate Fovia's thin-client High Definition Volume Rendering (HDVR) technology into its Amicas PACS version 6.0.

Integrating HDVR with Boston-based Amicas' PACS software will boost radiologists' productivity through 3D functionality, a consistent user experience, and an interactive review of large-volume data directly within Amicas PACS, Fovia said.
