Process improvement techniques like lean Six Sigma can easily be applied to radiology, to the benefit of patient care, according to Lerner, an executive at medical recruiting firm PSI Recruiters of Washington, DC. For example, at one of Lerner's clients, they were able to cut the time needed to complete an MRI exam by half.
