The new portal offers information on shielding recommendations, educational resources for radiologic technologists and patients, and answers frequently asked questions, the society said.

The ASRT's patient shielding task force is chaired by its Speaker of the House Daniel DeMaio, of the University of Hartford in Connecticut; and Board Chair Kristi Moore, PhD, of the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
